That's possible.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Motivation - Why volunteer: <\/strong><\/p>\n<p>After a long period of professional activity, \"wanting to continue to be active and creative\" was a good basis for following the call of the CDU Kaarst. I am there now, in the thick of it and motivated.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Hobbies:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Be active: \"High on the wind\" (sailing)<\/li>\n<li>Keep moving: On foot, by bike or car, and discover the small and big world - stay curious<\/li>\n<li>Fan and a bit of a player in the family's sporting activities<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>What is particularly important to me:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Promoting intergenerational, affordable housing and living<\/li>\n<li>A reliable and future-orientated traffic concept that takes into account the needs of all road users and residents<\/li>\n<li>Upgrading neighbourhoods and developing them in an intergenerational way with a focus on Holzb\u00fcttgen<\/li>\n<li>Sustainable and moderate growth in new construction and redensification (e.g. Kaarst Ost industrial estate and Commerhof development area)<\/li>\n<li>Ensuring a sound municipal budgetary and financial policy<\/li>\n<li>Promoting good coexistence between the generations: Old and young have equal status<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>What wish do you have for Kaarst...<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>that Kaarst, as a sustainable city, continues to boldly recognise the scope for action with its citizens and actively faces up to the challenges of today<\/li>\n<li>Education, culture, work and trade remain indispensable for a vibrant city with a high quality of life.
