Kaarst Total is an event that brings many people from Kaarst together and attracts many guests from outside Kaarst.  An absolute highlight in the course of the year. However, the high costs for the security concept threaten the event. The organiser cannot bear these costs alone, and without support Kaarst Total would have to be cancelled this year.<\/p>\n<p>That is why we are strongly in favour of ensuring that the festival can also take place in 2025! Together with B\u00fcndnis 90\/Die Gr\u00fcnen, we have submitted a motion for the city council meeting on 20 March 2025 to ease the financial burden on Kaarst Total and secure its long-term future.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Our suggestions:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>One-off grant of \u20ac14,000 to cover the administrative fees<\/li>\n<li>No building yard costs for the organiser in 2025<\/li>\n<li>Development of a sustainable future concept to preserve Kaarst Total in the long term<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Our goal:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Kaarst Total must take place! It is an important festival for Kaarst and the surrounding area - we are doing everything we can to ensure that it can continue to take place!<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Zum 25.
