Mayors meet for breakfast at the Tuppenhof

This morning, mayoral candidate Christian Horn-Heinemann hosted a joint mayoral breakfast at the historic Tuppenhof farm in Kaarst-Vorst. Over a delicious breakfast in glorious sunshine, the CDU representatives from Jüchen, Willich, Neuss, Rommerskirchen and Kaarst discussed the current challenges in their respective municipalities. There are, of course, interfaces and developments that affect all of them, and the dialogue was correspondingly quick.

The topics of migration, transport, education and the budget were on almost everyone's mind - and it was interesting that different approaches to solutions could be discussed. This was exactly what Christian Horn-Heinemann wanted: "When many bright minds come together, everyone benefits!" The conclusion is therefore not surprising: closer cooperation between the municipalities should be sought in the future.

The participants were: Harald Zillikens (Jüchen), Christian Pakusch (Willich), Axel Stucke (candidate for mayor of Neuss), Holger Hambloch (candidate for mayor of Rommerskirchen) and Christian Horn-Heinemann (candidate for mayor of Kaarst).

The Tuppenhof in Kaarst-Vorst is a historic location that is also a great place to work. After the work was done, the CDU representatives took the time to take a closer look at the Tuppenhof. Jürgen Rau, who has been a volunteer at the Tuppenhof for 30 years, provided comprehensive information and showed the various rooms in this great meeting place and how the Tuppenhof is used by many organisations and clubs. You can even get married in these historic walls.

A big thank you to everyone involved for the open dialogue and great commitment - this is how lively political work works on the ground!
