Active on site - strong together!
Traditionally, the Kaarst CDU city association is divided into two local chapters. All CDU members who live in Büttgen, Driesch, Holzbüttgen and Vorst, i.e. in the places that belonged to the municipality of Büttgen before the municipal reorganisation, belong to the Büttgen local association.
The local chapters enable us to be even closer to the problems of local people. We therefore concentrate our work primarily on the local problems of these districts, on maintaining contact with the citizens and on the co-operation between members. There is a close exchange with the Kaarst local association - both for content-related questions and for joint events, celebrations, etc.
We deal with local issues in the districts of Büttgen, Holzbüttgen, Vorst and Driesch. These include, for example
- Development of Büttger Nordwesen (grass playing field, former fire station, site of the former secondary school and comprehensive school)
We successfully incorporate suggestions into the work of the CDU parliamentary group.
