Politics by Kaarsters for Kaarsters
The Kaarst CDU city association is divided into the two local associations Kaarst and Büttgen (with Holzbüttgen, Vorst and Driesch). This localised party work enables us to maintain intensive contact with local people.
We deal with local issues in the Kaarst district. These include, for example
- Redesign of Kaarst town centre
- School situation
- Sports facility management
- Aircraft noise
These are just some of the topics in which we want to actively participate, join in discussions and change things. Many issues affect the entire Kaarst urban area, so we always liaise closely with the Büttgen local association in our work. We successfully introduce the resulting proposals and position papers to the CDU parliamentary group.
In addition to our substantive work, we want to promote active socialising. Events, parties and trips are designed to make party life more interesting - and not just during election campaigns, but throughout the year!
