Kaarst has voted - with a clear vote in favour of reliability and new momentum in the town hall
On Sunday, 28 September 2025, the run-off election for mayor of Kaarst took place in Kaarst. With a voter turnout of 46.62 %, our CDU candidate Christian Horn-Heinemann with rich 69.77 % of the votes clearly prevail against competitor Ursula Baum and thus becomes the new Mayor of the City of Kaarst. The CDU Kaarst-Büttgen warmly congratulates Christian Horn-Heinemann on this strong result and would like to thank all voters for the trust they have placed in him. This election result is a clear sign in favour of a policy of Reliability, proximity to citizens and future-orientation. With his many years of experience in local politics, his clear stance and his willingness to engage in dialogue, Christian Horn-Heinemann stands for reliable leadership in the town hall. The CDU Kaarst-Büttgen is convinced: Under his leadership, Kaarst will continue to strong, modern and liveable remain.
