At the members' meeting on 29 July in Holzbüttgen, the mayoral candidate emphasised Christian Horn-Heinemann"Five years of blocking, delaying and sitting out. Now we need clear leadership, ideas and genuine cooperation."
The CDU wants to actively shape Kaarst again - with a future-proof programme, local political experience and strong local teams. All five districts - Kaarst, Büttgen, Holzbüttgen, Vorst and Driesch - are at the centre of the political work.

- 6. climate protection with a sense of proportion
The refurbishment of municipal buildings, cycle paths, greening and the promotion of renewable energies stand for practicable and intergenerational climate protection.
- 7 Social responsibility and humane accommodation
Instead of large-scale accommodation, the CDU wants to create decentralised housing options - with a focus on integration, participation and affordable housing.
- 8. more safety and order in everyday life
More public order partnerships, better equipment for the police and fire brigade and a clean cityscape ensure a better quality of life and safety.
- 9. strengthen clubs, culture, voluntary work and sport

- 10. sustainable urban and mobility development
The mobility of the future is diverse: with charging infrastructure, cycle paths, strong town centres and new forms of housing with a sense of proportion.
CDU team shows unity and creative drive
With an experienced, locally anchored team and a clear course, the CDU Kaarst-Büttgen ready, Kaarst back on the road to success to bring about change.
