On 29 September 2024, the members of the multi-generational housing project CoHousing Büttgen invited guests to celebrate the recently granted building permit and took the opportunity to present their innovative project. The guests met directly at the planned building site to enjoy drinks and snacks and chat to each other in a relaxed atmosphere.
CDU mayoral candidate Christian Horn-Heinemann, Inge Jackisch, councillor from Büttgen, and Lars Christoph, a CDU expert citizen in the BPA, were also on site. They took the opportunity to find out about the current status of the project and to seek dialogue with those responsible and interested citizens.
The CDU has closely followed and supported the CoHousing project in recent years. This forward-looking form of housing promotes intergenerational coexistence and offers a modern concept for communal living.
As things stand, there are still nine social housing units in the project that have not yet been reserved and can be taken over by investors.
