Minister President Wüst supports Christian Horn-Heinemann in the mayoral run-off election in Kaarst

On 28 September will decide who will take over the office of mayor in Kaarst in a run-off election. After neither candidate was able to achieve an absolute majority in the first round of voting, the incumbent Ursula Baum (FDP) and CDU candidate Christian Horn-Heinemann against each other again.

What voters need to know now

The run-off election will take place on Sunday, 28 Septemberwill take place. The polling stations are open from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. open. The voting cards already issued are valid for voting. If you no longer have these, you can identify yourself with your identity card.
Anyone who has already applied for postal voting for the main election will automatically receive the documents for the run-off election - provided the box for the run-off election was ticked when the application was first submitted. Otherwise, you will have to apply for postal voting again.
The completed postal voting documents must be received by Sunday, 28 September, 4 pm must be received at the town hall - either in person at the polling station (Club Room 1 in the community centre) or via the town hall letterbox. It is not possible to hand in votes at polling stations.
