CDU focuses on clear leadership and future-oriented election programme for the 2025 municipal elections
With a resolute claim to leadership and a unanimously adopted election programme, the CDU Kaarst-Büttgen on Tuesday evening in Holzbüttgen officially entered the Local election campaign 2025 launched. Mayoral candidate Christian Horn-Heinemann criticised the way in which the FDP mayor has conducted her office to date in his speech to the members' meeting Ursula Tree sharp: "Five years of stagnation are enough. Kaarst needs the courage to organise again."
Horn-Heinemann accused the current city administration of inadequate implementation of political decisions: "Despite a constructive council majority with the Greens, key projects such as the Industrial estate at Kaarster Kreuzwhich Urban development in the city centre and important School building projects not driven forward." The CDU Kaarst-Büttgen wants to take on responsibility with experience, expertise and team spirit and Getting Kaarst back on the road to success.

Special emphasis is placed on a neighbourhood-specific policyWe take all five districts seriously - Kaarst, Büttgen, Holzbüttgen, Vorst and Driesch," emphasised Horn-Heinemann. The CDU Kaarst-Büttgen is the only party with locally anchored candidates present across the board.
The Future programme for Kaarst provides for, among other things:
- A barrier-free, liveable city centre,
- More daycare places and modern schools,
- The consistent digitalisation of administration ("Kaarst-Online"),
- A sound financial policy with economic development,
- As well as targeted measures for climate protection and sustainable mobility.
Horn-Heinemann: "Our election programme is not a wish list - it is a realistic and well thought-out plan for the future of Kaarst."
