17.8.2024 - Holzbüttgen Now it is clearly audible - the people of Holzbüttg can breathe a little easier - with the extremely limited everyday mobility. The Holzbüttg councillors and above all CDU member Burghard Asche have made sure that the construction site on Königstrasse - the current Stop Holzbüttgen centre - was finally finalised.

The rail replacement service no longer has to worry about over the even narrower Hasselstrasse. For the plagued residents of Bruchweg, Kreuzstrasse and Königstrasse unfortunately there is still no normal mobility load in sight. As already discussed at the citizens' meeting the traffic flow in the Holzbüttgen district remainsThe new railway line, especially via Bruchweg, is not only a nuisance, but will also have to be readjusted in the Mobility Committee in connection with the RegioBahn, the expansion of the area around Commerhof and the new settlements in the Hüngert industrial estate.
In this context, stopping bans in particularly narrow places are also being discussed so that articulated buses can drive more safely and do not have to use pavements. The city has not yet responded. In the view of the CDU, the reference to the RegioBahn transport company is not sufficient to actively achieve a solution for Holzbüttgen.
