Kaarst, 16.01.2025 - The CDU Kaarst is pleased to announce a significant increase in membership: over 60 new members have joined the party in the past six months, bringing the number of members to 425 - an increase of more than 15 per cent. This strong growth shows the growing interest of citizens in political involvement and emphasises the desire for effective and reliable politics.
"The current developments in Germany are unsettling many people. They expect solutions from politicians instead of disputes, clarity instead of chaos. Especially in these times, it is crucial to have a strong and effective government - both for Germany and for Kaarst," explains Christian Horn-Heinemann, mayoral candidate for the Kaarst CDU. "Our growth in membership makes it clear that many people want to actively campaign for a stable political future. It would be great if we as the CDU Kaarst could soon break the 500-member mark!"
The CDU Kaarst sees the growth in membership as a mandate to continue to stand up for reliable, pragmatic and future-orientated policies. The increasing number of supporters shows that citizens have confidence in the work of the CDU and want to actively support their town and country.
"We need majorities capable of taking action in order to overcome the challenges ahead and to make Kaarst and Germany fit for the future," Horn-Heinemann continued. "This is what the CDU stands for - with clear values, strong concepts and an open ear for people's concerns."
New members are always welcome to become actively involved in the political work of the CDU Kaarst.
