Today we are celebrating a very special occasion: 50 years of IKEA in Germany! As Kaarst residents, we are particularly proud to be part of this anniversary. Not only do we have one of the most modern IKEA shops in Germany here in Kaarst, but we have also made an important contribution to the economic strength of our region.

The successful relocation of the IKEA shop was significantly supported by the CDU and the mayors Herbert Moormann and Dr Ulrike Nienhaus.
