Kaarst CDU votes in the city council
The parliamentary group decides on the positions of the CDU in the city council and in the council committees. The 19 council members of the CDU Kaarst are entitled to vote.
In addition, the three CDU district councillors from the town of Kaarst as well as the chairpersons of our associations and the local associations and the municipal association of the parliamentary group are also members in an advisory capacity.
The parliamentary group meets regularly before meetings of the city council and committees and decides on the CDU's approach in these bodies. Various committees (Building, Environment and Local Recreation Committee; Urban Development, Planning and Transport Committee; Culture Committee; Youth Welfare Committee; School Committee, Sports Committee, Social Affairs Committee) include not only members of the City Council, but also expert citizens. These are elected as members of individual committees by the City Council. The CDU has formed working groups for the aforementioned committees, in which every CDU member can participate. These working groups prepare the respective committee meetings for the parliamentary group.
