The 2025 federal election is coming up - and with it an important decision for the future of our country. However, many voters are wondering whether it makes sense to cast their first and second votes for different parties. The answer is clear: Vote splitting can weaken one's own political convictions and lead to undesirable results.
The first vote decides the Direct candidates in the constituencywhile the second vote determines the majority in the Bundestag. Anyone who supports a candidate from another party with their first vote, for example, risks the CDU losing an important direct mandate - and therefore also losing influence in parliament. In addition, vote splitting can unintentionally strengthen parties that do not offer stable and reliable policies for Germany.
Therefore: Only with both votes in favour of the CDU can we ensure a strong government, clear responsibility and reliable policies for the future of our country. Every vote counts on 23 February 2025 - back stability and continuity!
