Dear people of Kaarst,
I am deeply moved by the strong result in the first round of the mayoral election and would like to sincerely thank all voters for the great trust they placed in me last Sunday. Your backing and the broad support I received during the election campaign from all parts of our town motivate me greatly to continue to fight with full commitment for our common future in Kaarst.
I would like to thank everyone who has put their time, energy and heart and soul into the election campaign over the past weeks and months - be it in personal conversations, at stands in the city or in digital dialogue. Without this tireless effort, this result would not have been possible.
Now it's up to all of us: The run-off election will take place on 28 September. I ask you to vote again and place your trust in me for a new beginning in Kaarst! Together we can shape the change and lead our home town back to togetherness, family friendliness and economic strength.
