On 5 October 2024 the city of Kaarst officially opened the newly designed area around the Rathausstraße and the St Martinus church building. In glorious weather and in the presence of numerous citizens the Project successful inaugurated.
Numerous members of the CDU Kaarstincluding Mayoral candidate Christian Horn-Heinemannwere on the spot to direct exchange with the citizens. The Technical Officer Helmut Droste with his team and Ursula Tree welcomed together with the responsible Pastor Gregor Ottersbachthe Chairman of the Church Council and the deputy CDU mayor Theo Thissen numerous guests: Among them were the State Minister Ina Scharrenbach and many representatives of the parties and society, including Former mayor Franz-Josef Moormann and Reverend Dr Maike Neumann. The event was musically framed by the Music school Mark Koll.
