Successful start to the year: New Year's reception of the CDU Kaarst with prominent guests

The traditional New Year's reception of the CDU Kaarst took place with great success on 9 January 2025 at the Mercure Hotel. Around 400 guests came together to start the new year together, discuss political visions and make new contacts.

The CDU Kaarst was particularly pleased about the presence of prominent guests from federal politics. In addition to Ansgar Heveling, Member of the Bundestag for the Rhine district of Neuss, Dr Carsten Linnemann, Secretary General of the CDU Germany, was a guest of honour and speaker in Kaarst.

Dr Carsten Linnemann's speech, which impressively emphasised the importance of a change in policy for Germany, was one of the highlights of the evening. He emphasised how the CDU wants to shape the future of our country with clear messages and substantial solutions.

Christian Horn-Heinemann, the CDU's candidate for mayor of Kaarst, also impressed the audience with his speech, in which he outlined the challenges and opportunities for Kaarst and Germany in 2025. "We are facing a decisive year in which we must take responsibility together and set the course for a successful future," said Horn-Heinemann.

The evening not only offered exciting political impulses, but also a great opportunity for personal discussions and dialogue in a relaxed atmosphere. The CDU Kaarst is delighted with the successful kick-off and is optimistic about the coming year.
