The latest school committee meeting focussed on a topic that concerns many families in Büttgen: the future of Budica primary school. A feasibility study was presented, which included nine possible variants for an extension to the school - with different expansion stages and structural concepts.
But in the course of the discussion, it became clear that a completely new school building is not out of the question. The structural decision is therefore still open - but one thing is clear: the need for space is real and urgent.
The CDU welcomes the fact that this important project is finally being finalised. We are committed to finding the best solution for our children - a solution that is both educationally and structurally sustainable.
✅ A sense of proportion, responsibility and a clear focus on what is feasible are our top priorities. The Budica primary school is a central location for education and community in Büttgen - and it deserves a solution that does justice to this.
