The annual city festival "Kaarst Total" proved to be a complete success again this year. In bright sunshine, numerous visitors flocked to the town centre to celebrate together and enjoy the wide range of activities on offer. Whether young or old, big or small - there was something for everyone and, as always, the atmosphere was characterised by a special warmth.
Of course, the CDU Kaarst was also traditionally on site with a stand. On Saturday Many opportunities to engage in dialogue with citizensto answer questions and simply enjoy the festival. Our stand, near the Hügen stage proved to be the ideal meeting place for stimulating discussions and good humour.
In addition to the political presence, it was important for us to show our appreciation to the numerous exhibitors. We took the opportunity to visit the stands of the committed Kaarst companies and associations. They make a significant contribution to the success of "Kaarst Total" and ensure that the festival is an unforgettable experience for all visitors.
A special highlight of the weekend was undoubtedly the impressive fireworks display on Saturday eveningwhich transformed the sky above Kaarst into a sparkling sea of lights. The ecumenical service on Sunday morningwhich offered a moment of reflection in the midst of the colourful hustle and bustle, contributed to the special atmosphere of the festival. The numerous concerts rounded off the programme and attracted even more visitors to the city centre.
