CDU barbecue in Maubishof: a complete success in glorious weather
After a long break, the CDU's traditional barbecue at Maubishof took place again on Ascension Day. In glorious sunshine, the numerous visitors enjoyed an all-round successful event, which was characterised by a huge turnout and great popularity.
The live cover band Fachabteilung created an excellent atmosphere with their music. The extensive entertainment programme for children - with a bouncy castle, balloon building and face painting - delighted the younger guests and provided families with a carefree day. Of course, the traditional barbecue with sausages and steaks was not to be missed, providing a culinary highlight.
Christian Horn, party leader of the CDU, was extremely pleased with the successful day: "We are overwhelmed by the positive feedback and the huge turnout for our barbecue. It's wonderful to see people coming together after the long coronavirus break and taking this opportunity to celebrate and socialise. My special thanks go to Ingo Kotzian, Volker Begas and Sven Ladeck, who played a key role as organisers in making our party such a success."
The barbecue in Maubishof was a clear sign of how much such events contribute to the community and the CDU is looking forward to continuing this tradition in the coming years.
